(VIN: 11102312032506), graphite grey / red leather and carpeting / black conv top, auto trans., 55,893 miles, 6 cyl ovrhd camshaft (M 130), 2,195 cc, 115 hp (DIN) @ 4800 rpm (134 hp SAE @ 5000 rpm), bore and stroke: 80mm x 72.8mm, compression ratio: 8.7:1, Bosch 2 plunger pump fuel injection, unit frame and body chassis, independent front suspension with single joint swing axle rear and coil springs, drum brakes, recirculating ball steering, drum brakes, convertible dry weight: 3,234 lbs., VDO clock, Becker European radio with integrated ipod adapter, paint and interior are very nice, glass is excellent, wood dash is also in very good condiiton, good floors and trunk - no apparent rust anywhere, owned for years by Joe Sullivan, who worked with Chicago Bears, was assistant general manager to the Washington Redskins and was assistant coach to LA Rams and VP / general manager of the St. Louis Cardinals, we purchased the vehicle from his widow Joan and sold it to a local physician in Aug. 2006, almost a complete restoration was completed in 1983 at 48,962 miles by Horst Cars & Antons Auto Body of St. Louis, MO, with all receipts accompanying the car (over $9,000.00 in receipts), in 1984 and 1988 it was appraised by appraiser David S. Gronik, who estimated the value in teh high $30's at that time, over $9,600 spent in 2006/2007 on maintenance, service and repair, incl. new convertible top boot cover, re-covering the seats, replacement of plugs, seals, fluids, filters, hoses, rebuild brakes, headwork (valve job), repacement of carrier bearing, etc., one of 2,729 cabriolets built from 1961 - 1965.
